Halloween 2014

Mwuahahaha! Did you all have a great Halloween? I sure did! Although I planned to go trick or treating with my girlies, I was forced to go with my family. It actually wasn't that bad!

Here is a video of me doing the makeup. It took me about 30 minutes because it was my first time doing face makeup!

I didn't really have a costume so I decided something on the last minute. I watched anzujaamu's tutorial on YouTube and I wanted to do her look! She is a cosplayer and a youtuber! I created her look onto my face and I liked it a lot! I decided to go with a doll look so I grabbed my black vintage dress from Goodwill and I ripped my tights on purpose. They are from Daiso Japan.

Overall, this was the best Halloween ever and it was the first time I loved my costume. My costumes are usually bought from Target or something but it always looked bad on me. So this costume was from my own closet and I adore it! Well, see you next time! Bye!

School Girl & Monsterology Book Review

Hi there! It's Amy again! Today I decided to go for a school girl look with no shoes on (no shoes are allowed inside my house, hehe). 

I have on this black t-shirt from Target and the shorts is actually part of a school uniform. Yes! It's not a skirt. 

They are shorts, but the front has another layer which makes it look like a skirt! The shirt is actually pretty long, so I tied one side which made it look like a crop top. I really like the school girl look these days and it's actually a pretty simple outfit.

 No  accessories needed unless there's a type of school girl look you're going for such as a bad girl or a kawaii girl. I really hate jewelry ON ME. It looks so good on most people but when I wear some, it looks like I'm a gangster.

I've been reading the the 'Ology books and here I have the Monsterology book. It's about mythical creatures and beasts and it's really interesting! It might come in handy, if the monsters do appear right now! I actually got this at Goodwill since I don't really want to spend $20 for a book (that's actually the real price!). Instead I bought it for only $3 and it's brand new! This book is great for people who are into fantasy and loves big mysteries!

The first chapter talks about the beasts of Earth and the next chapters are about the beasts of water,air,etc.  It has all of the most popular creatures such as a unicorn,  medusa, a yeti, a sea serpent and more! 

   Apparently this is unicorn hair.

Angelus Lace

Hi there! My name is Amy Nguyen and this is my first post on my very own blog! I created this blog just for pictures of my outfits, reviews, or basically my daily life. Nice to meet you all and have a nice day!

That is me, obviously! Both the dress and the lace cardigan is from my mom. There isn't any brand and I don't know where she got it, so I apologize. I hope you are inspired by this outfit though. Here are some more pictures that I took.

Angelus Lace is Latin and it means Lace Angel.  This look is elegant, soft,  innocent,  and cute!  It is also very simple but it holds many details such as the fabric of the clothing. The lace just makes everything feminine and the dress also has many details. So I really didn't think I needed any accessories for this!
